W.S. "Sev" MacPete
A licensed attorney in California and the Federal Courts, Mr. MacPete has over twenty years experience in
telecommmunications as a Senior National Account Manager with AT&T and Sprint, and as a telecommunications consultant. Mr. MacPete was an intern at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the Office of the General Counsel in the summer of 1996, during the drafting and implementation of the rules interpreting the Telecommunications Act of 1996.
Mr. MacPete has lectured and delivered numerous presentations on the opportunities in telecommunications stemming
from the passage of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and the growth of competition in all phases of telecommunications.
Mr. MacPete obtained his JD from California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA, has an MBA in Marketing from the
University of Chicago and a BS from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Mr. MacPete is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, and the San Diego County Bar
Association.
Mr. MacPete conducts consulting assignments through separate partnerships, ExecuServ and ECS.
John W. MacPete
John MacPete is a licensed attorney in California, Texas and the Federal Courts, specializing in intellectual property,
contractual law and civil litigation. He has served a variety of clients in complex contractual matters and is an experienced litigator at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. MacPete served as a clerk to Judge Charles E. Wiggins of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals prior to entering private practice.
Mr. MacPete obtained his JD from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley and has a BA from
the University of Chicago.
Julia F. MacPete
Ms MacPete is a paralegal with extensive experience in real estate. Prior to joining The MacPete Law Firm as its
administrative director, Ms MacPete was a successful real estate broker and manager of a nationally recognized real estate office.
In addition to a BA obtained from Governors State University in Illinois, Ms MacPete holds the GRI designation in real
estate and has successfully completed a substantial number of legal courses.
Ms MacPete conducts consulting assignments through a separate partnership, ExecuServ, a certified WBE.
